The Art of Photo-Sharing

Dear fellow Gangst8rs…

Here is a very detailed step by step instruction to the basics of Photo-sharing…
Because I don’t want to receive photos whereby I could not even see my face…

The several ways to send photographs:

Method #1: Using external file sharing services

1) Go to http://www.download.com/
2) Search for ‘winrar’
3) Choose the one on top, usually with the one with most ratings
4) Download it free
5) Install it
6) Select the folders you want to compress
7) Right click and select ‘Add to “…(name of folder)…”’

8) Make sure you get this item:

Left: Thumbnail version, Right: Tile version

9) Go in to http://www.yousendit.com/
10) Sign up for the free version
11) Go to the ‘Send’ tab
12) Click on ‘Contacts’

13) Select ‘Add Contact’
14) Write your friends’ names and emails and ‘Save’
15) Click on ‘Send File’
16) Select the contacts you want to send it
17) Browse and select the file:

18) Click on ‘Send It’

OR

9) Log in to MSN
10) Open your ‘Sharing folder’ with the selected persons you want to send to
11) Copy and paste the file to the ‘Sharing folder’
12) Notify the persons using the MSN conversation window

Method #2: Die die want to send using blogger

Note:
If you wanna resize it, please do not resize it any smaller then the following picture size:

(1024 x 768) --> I prefer this size...

(800 x 600) --> If cannot, at least this size...

Kindly do not reduce the size of the photographs any more, because I do not want its quality to be compromised...
Otherwise what is the use of buying a very expensive 1000000 mega-pixel camera only to resize it and get a picture whose quality is worse then those of the camera-phone-type of 4 years ago??

And when you decided to alter the photos in any sense, can you please make a duplicate of it, and edit on the duplicate photo instead??
So that if any major mistakes are been done, there is always the original copy to back it up…

To make a duplicate, simply select the entire folder with the photos, copy and paste it somewhere or rename the folder…
Or using the photoshop software, go to image, and click on duplicate…

As for group photos (aka pictures containing four persons and above)…
Do Not ReSize It At All!!!
Cos I don’t want my face to be the size of an ant…
